Brush plating, as the name suggests involves the application of a brush on the surface of the material to be plated. The process of brush plating is highly effective and is extremely portable.

The process involves masking of the strip and preparation of the surface for brush plating. Then the plating tool and part to be plated are moved over each other to transfer the deposit from the plating tool onto the part. Dedicated electrodes are used for each operation in the process to electrochemically prepare the part and then to plate the final deposit. The electrodes are covered with an absorbent material saturated with a solution and then applied to the part.
